Cooling capacity

• 14 cold rooms:  Piketko has 14 cold rooms, 6 of which are used for forced air cooling, 6 are designed as CA (controlled atmosphere) rooms and 2 are used mainly for cold storage of pre-cooled fruit. Depending on the circumstances, the rooms for forced air cooling and CA can also be used for cold storage.

• Pallets and cooling cycle:  The cooling installation has the capacity to cool down 520 pallets of grapes, apples or pears per day. For citrus and stone fruit the capacity is higher.
